Amazing cancer survivor Megan Kershaw will be strutting her stuff for the fifth time at an annual charity fashion show.
The 15-year-old pupil at Epworth’s South Axholme Academy battled a rare liver cancer that spread, and she hit national headlines when her spine was found to have healed itself.
Now busy with her GCSEs, she hopes to study four A-levels in the future, in maths, chemistry, biology and dance.
Her movement skills will be put to good use in the Aurora Fashion Show from May 16 to 17 at The Dome in Doncaster.
Aurora specialises in treatments for cancer patients, and Megan, of Misson, received pampering treatmnents during her illness.
Mum Debbie said: “In 2009 Megan could barely walk down the catwalk - now she really struts her stuff. In this year’s show she will be a bride. At times, when I held Megan and she wasn’t expected to survive the night, I would visualise her in a wedding dress.”
Megan will also dance to a One Direction track, after meeting the lads once at X-Factor rehearsals.
