A talking shop is opening its doors wide to people from the Isle and across North Lincolnshire, to mark World Mental Health Day on October 10.
Staff in the Talking Shop in Scunthorpe encourage people to call in between 2-4pm and sample taster sessions on the services it provides, to help overcome common mental health conditions.
Based at 19 Market Hill, the Talking Shop provides free talking therapies to people over the age of 18, who may have depression, low mood, anxiety, and fears or problems coping with daily life and relationships.
Kate Ashley, IAPT team manager at the Talking Shop, said: “Just call in and have a chat and pick up lots of information about managing your mental wellbeing.”
The Talking Shop’s team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists will be on hand to share tips and talk about how they can support people. Call 01724 867297 for details.
