RESIDENTS in Barnsley are being encouraged to have their say on how council services are delivered in the borough.
The council is launching a consultation process called the Big Barnsley Conversation, which is being held between Saturday, September 8, and Friday, September 14.
As part of the scheme, residents are being invited to have their say on how the authority deals with significant budget pressures.
The council must save £37m over the next four years.
Volunteers will be at a number of community events, coffee mornings and in town centres during that week to give people the chance to have their say.
The council is also planning to launch online discussion boards on their website at www.barnsley.gov.uk.
