Guiseley Vixens 1 Doncaster Rovers Belles 4

Doncaster Rovers Belles ended a run of eight straight league defeats with a deserved victory at Guiseley Vixens.

The Belles were made to regret individual defensive errors against Nottingham Forest and missed chances in attack against Hull but things finally came together to give Zoey Shaw's side a 4-1 victory.

Abby Watkinson, Zoe Belding, Izzy Whittle and Chloe Bethell were all on target as the Belles also moved off the bottom of the FA Women's National League.

Watkinson put Doncaster ahead on 25 minutes, going clean through on goal and finishing superbly past former Belles keeper Bethan Davies.

Guiseley had an effort ruled out for offside seven minutes later but when Liv Auker found the net for a second time on 50 minutes, the equaliser stood.

Belding fired the Belles back ahead on 67 minutes, smashing a half-cleared cross into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Captain Whittle made it 3-1 eight minutes later, rising in the six-yard box to convert a perfect Sheldon Ashton cross.
