Green Doncaster is supported by the Facebook Community News Project and was set up in April 2019 by reporter Laura Andrew.

There is a weekly page in the Doncaster Free Press which focuses on environmental stories on many topics including events, eco-friendly businesses, how to live an environmentally friendly lifestyle and other green topics.
