ORGANISERS of a popular car boot sale are anticipating an increased in visitors
Every Sunday more than 2,500 people flock to the Keepmoat Stadium to hunt for bargains to make their income go further, and numbers are expected to increase as the weather picks up.
Shane Chalmers, chief executive of the Stadium Management Company, said: “With the better weather coming along and people watching their purse strings because of the uncertain economy, attendances are likely to be even bigger in the weeks to come.
“It’s a great day out, both for those who have had a spring clean and want to trade items and for those who may just want to peruse the stalls.”
The car boot sale takes place every Sunday throughout the year between 6.30am and 12.30pm.
