Golfers in the Dearne can now enjoy refurbished facilities and tasty treats at Crookhill Park Golf Course’s clubhouse.
The Conisbrough venue has been redecorated and a range of golf equipment has been added to the pro shop.
A snack bar selling sandwiches and refreshments has also been introduced to help fuel budding would-be Rory McIlroys before they hit the links.
Chris Hone, commercial development manager at Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, which operates the golf course, said: “We are always looking at ways to improve our venues and provide our members and the public with the best possible facilities.
“The changes we have made at Crookhill Park Golf Course mean that the clubhouse area looks fantastic.
With the new snack bar, golfers can enjoy a bite to eat or a coffee, while we also continue to provide our ‘19th hole’ bar for those wanting an alcoholic drink.”
The 48 acre course is a ‘pay-as-you-play’ course meaning no membership is required although seasonal tickets are available.
