A fun family afternoon is promised at a charity garden party on Sunday to raise cash for a hospice.
The beautiful grounds of Lindsey Lodge Hospice on Burringham Road, Scunthorpe will be the perfect setting for its Garden Party, which is back by popular demand after a two year hiatus - and this year it’s set to be bigger and better than ever.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice Head of Fundraising Samantha Wood said: “As well as delicious cream teas and a whole host of stalls, our younger guests will be able to enjoy a bouncy castle, face painting, crafts and games – we’ve even got a good old fashioned coconut shy.
“We’re also hoping to create a buzz with our ‘Bugs and Butterflies’ fancy dress competition and we’ve got some fantastic prizes lined up for the winning costumes.”
The Lindsey Lodge Hospice Garden Party will run between 1pm and 4pm. Entry free, but donations would be very welcome. visit www.lindselylodgehospice.org.uk
