Over 300 people have already signed up for a bubbbletatsic, frothy event called Dubble Bubble which is coming to North Lincolnshire for the first time.
Tickets are proving popular for the 5km bubble course suitable for all the family in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice on Sunday, July 24.
The course will see cannons splurging a crazy 30 cubic metres of suds every minute which will create a carpet of one-meter-deep bubbles.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice organiser, Andrew Hirst, said: “This is a completely unique event for the area and we are really excited about it. We are ecstatic with the amount of people signing up- so book your place early to avoid disappointment!
“Dubble Bubble is all about having fun… so get your silly outfits ready such as tutus, wigs and over-sized sunglasses; you name it, we want you wearing it!”
But that’s not all for this unique event… there will be zorb balls, a barbeque, bouncy castles, magic balloon modelling and even a DJ.
Andrew said: “There will be plenty going on for every one of all ages. We think the zorb balls will be a hit and plus we are planning some extra surprises on the day!
“We want everyone to have a fantastic time with all the family and help raise funds for the hospice on Burringham Road in Scunthorpe which cares for local people with life-limiting illnesses.
“We are so thankful for the support we receive from the public because it costs over £400 a day for an in-patient to receive specialised care, £1,200 a month for life-saving oxygen and £5 for a patient’s hot, nutritional meal.”
It takes place on Sunday, July 24 from 2pm-6pm at North Lindsey College in Scunthorpe. Tickets are priced £20 for adults 16 and upwards, £5 for children 5-15 years and under 5s are free. A family of four ticket is a discounted price of £35.
