Free pork pie or sausage rolls at Medley farm shop in Belton

An award-winning farm shop has teamed up with the Epworth Bells for this week’s mouth watering freebie offer.

Medley Farm shop, The Granary, Carrhouse Road, Belton, is offering a free pork pie or three free sausage rolls worth £3, on production of the coupon in the December 3 edition of the Epworth Bells from Thursday, December 3 to Wednesday December 9.

At Medley Farm they say they take great pride in providing customers with fresh, good quality meat. 
Jo Johnson, who runs the farm shop with his wife Robert, said: “Produce is fresh and natural, giving a delicious flavour of meat, the way meat should taste. “Our animals are all treated with high standards and usually reared on farms in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

“We produce a range of award-winning sausages, pork pies, pastries and traditional cakes. In our farm shop at Belton you will find free-range eggs produced at Medley farm, local honey, a range of jams and preserves, locally produced bread and seasonal vegetables. We look forward to your visit.”

In addition, the farm shop sells a range of Christmas delights such as Lincolnshire turkey and stuffed turkey crown to try with home-cured ham and dry-cured bacon.
Its sausages are award-winning and they also sell pork pies and game pies.

You can also try the shop’s real pork stuffings and sausage rolls.

The shop is taking orders for its pork, lamb, beef, chicken and many other Christmas delights.

In addition there is Indian chutney, autumn chutney, cider apple jelly, Auntie Boo’s Kashmir relish, pineapple and passion fruit jelly, chilli apple jam, Lincolnshire pork pie, Yorkshire pork pie, pork with chicken pie and steak pie.

They have fruit cake, chocolate cake, Grandma Wild’s award-winning ginger biscuits and Grandma Wild’s award-winning chocolate biscuits.

Jo said: “All meat is fresh from the farm and things are home-baked. We are predominantly pig farmers but we also sell beef brisket, silverside, lamb chops, sirloin steak and stuffed lamb breast.”

She added: “All our animals are cared for to the highest standards and people know the provenance of our meat which ensures it is fresh and tasty. ”

The shop is open Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
