A popular country eatery that also has accommodation, run by Gordon Crowe, who has been owner for 16 years, the River Don Tavern and Lodge has exciting food on offer all year round and they are taking bookings right now for their mouth watering meals. Gordon said: “The refurbishment we have recently had done includes more bedrooms above the restaurant. In addition we have a restaurant that seats 40 people, which can be hired out for various functions such as christenings and funerals. It has recently been used for NVQ style training with delegates lodging here. As we open from 3.30pm people can have the room for themselves up to this time.”
