There’s a free bottle of wine on offer to all Bells readers, with any main meals for two at the Mowbray Arms, Epworth.

Have a relaxed evening at the newly refurbished Mowbray, and pay nothing at all for a complimentary bottle of red or white wine with your meals.

The wine worth £12 can be claimed when you fill in the coupon printed in this week’s Epworth Bells, and present it at the pub when you order your meals.

This offer lasts all week from June 19 and is a great opportunity to treat yourself and a friend or a loved one to a traditional meal out, with no washing up.

The eatery and pub that has a new manager in the form of Shaun Scalley, boasts a wide choice of home-cooked pub food favourites.

Already, Shaun offers two steaks and a bottle of wine as a special deal on Tuesdays for £20, and curry on a Thursday evening is £6.95 to include a drink.

Carveries are popular on Sundays, along with Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

During lunchtimes from Tuesday to Friday, two main courses cost just £9.50 and include all the favourites such as fish, chips and peas, or steak and ale pie.

Shaun has become involved with the community in a big way since he took over the pub three months ago. The Mowbray will be just one of the venues for Epworth Music Day this weekend so be sure to call by and enjoy the great atmosphere.

Then on Sunday, the Isle’s very first vintage tractor run starts from the Mowbray at 10am, with a raffle, auction and Spitfire fly-past after 3pm which will be well worth a look.
