Laura Lee, media manager at Ealand-based HiViz Safety, tweeted a safety message to the former Dragon’s Den star during Small Business Sunday in April and he retweeted it to his legions of followers across the world. As a result, the health and safety business gained more followers on their social media platforms.

They also received a flurry of sign-ups to their health, safety and employment law online system.

Furthermore, as HiViz Safety was made a Small Business Sunday member, the firm is now profiled on Theo’s #SBS website www.theopaphitissbs.com

Cliff Dick, managing director of HiViz Safety, said: “It is great to have support from Theo and fantastic that he has recognised our hard work.

“He has certainly helped spread the word about the online and on foot services HiViz Safety has to offer.”

Mr Paphitis said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won a #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website and new #SBSShop will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish HiViz Safety every success.”

This latest business success comes after the company was named as one of the Small Biz 100 companies as part of the Small Business Saturday campaign last year. The competition win meant they were one of 100 companies nationally to be given free online exposure promoting their services by the SBS scheme.
