FORGET the best dressed lady, it was all about the best dressed business during St Leger Festival for one shop.

And it was Floristry by Lord Hurst that was the first past the post in the Doncaster Council-led competition for its vibrantly decorated shop in Bennetthorpe.

The authority challenged businesses to celebrate the popular racing festival by sprucing up their firms with anything from bunting and posters to even staff members dressing to impress.

Delighted owner Andrew Hurst said: “The St Leger Festival is an important Doncaster tradition and I believe it is important to celebrate it.

“I bought the bunting on holiday in Spain thinking it would be perfect for creating a fiesta atmosphere during Leger week.”
