Five new shows coming to Doncaster Dome

From dancing to singing and comedy to circus Doncaster Dome has signed five new shows to take place.

This is the Greatest Show, which will take place on September 23, is a musical spectacular inspired by the imagination of PT Barnum celebrating songs from some of the most loved musicals and movies of all time. 

The live Greatest Show Band will take to the stage together with a cast of West End performers to evoke the passion and true spirit of the live Spectacular, with brilliant vocals, stunning costumes and a dazzling light show.

Featuring songs from musical classics including The Greatest Showman, Moulin Rouge, Smash, The Music Man and Barnum, enjoy a memorable night out enjoy tracks that stir the soul and fire the imagination.

Next up is a truly magical show full of dance, live music, incredible staging and so much more when Brendan Cole brings 'All Night Long' to The Dome on November 15, join the thousands of Strictly fans and theatre lovers who have already experienced this breath-taking show.

 

In 2019 the circus is coming to town, The Circus of Horrors that is!  After taking to the road over 22 years ago and touring all over the world the phenomenon returns with its latest brand new incarnation. The spectacular features an amazing amalgamation of bizarre and fantastic circus acts act's all woven into a sensational shock / horror story and the darkest of magic '“ taking the show to a whole new level. This one is strictly for the over 18s and not for the faint hearted. The circus rolls into town on February 28 2019.

In March, Faith - The George Michael Legacy, featuring international George Michael tribute artist Wayne Dilks together with his incredible 7-piece band and backing singers, heads to the Dome.

Join us, on March 23 2019 in celebration to the life of one of the world's most successful male artists selling over 100 million records worldwide and encompassing 11 British No.1 singles, 8 British No.1 albums and 6 US No.1 singles in a spell binding spectacle of his songs.

Bringing comedy to the town with a brand new live show for 2019 is Rhod Gilbert with The Book of John.

Following a six-year break from stand-up the multi-award-winning comedian is back .The Welsh wonder will join us on July 26 as part of a full UK tour.

As one of the UK's leading stand-up comedy talents, he has enjoyed many successful years as a star of television and radio. He has amassed eight series of his hugely popular '˜Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience'.  He is the current host of BBC2's '˜The Apprentice: You're Fired' and is the former host of '˜Never Mind the Buzzcocks'.  He's regularly hosted '˜Have I Got News for You?' and has appeared countless times on '˜Qi', '˜Would I Lie to You?' and '˜8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown'.  He has hosted '˜Live at The Apollo' on multiple occasions and has twice performed on '˜The Royal Variety Performance'.  He is set to appear in the forthcoming series of the Bafta award-winning '˜Taskmaster'.
