Five arson attacks overnight saw three cars torched in Doncaster

Of five incidents attended by South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service overnight, three were arson attacks on vehicles.

Two fire crews from Doncaster station were called out to a deliberate fire involving rubbish and a fence at 7.55pm on Cherry Garth in Bentley. The crews left the scene at 8.25pm.

Adwick firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 8.20pm on Coppice Road, Highfields. They were there for 40 minutes.

Firefighters from Edlington station were called out to an accidental bin fire at 8.45pm on Brander Close, Balby. They left at 9.05pm.

124 more coronavirus cases diagnosed in Doncaster

Doncaster firefighters were called out to an industrial recycling bin which had been deliberately set on fire at 4.50am this morning on Broxholme Lane, Wheatley. The crew left the scene at 5.25am.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 4.55am on Woodlea Grove, Armthorpe. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident, leaving at 5.40am.

Firefighters from Doncaster station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 6.45am on Woodfield Way, Balby.
