Fires in the Isle
Isle fire crews were called out to Epworth twice at the start of the weekend.
The first call was to a fire that erupted from the engine compartment of a tractor on Melwood Hill, Epworth, on Friday afternoon.
This was followed a couple of hours later by a blaze involving a number of waste tyres at a site off Sandtoft Road.
In both cases, the fires were dealt with quite quickly and there were no injuries.
