Firefighters were called to a massive blaze involving 50 tonnes household waste in Doncaster
Doncaster firefighters were called out to an incident at 10.32pm on Friday.
The fire was on Bankwood Lane in New Rossington and involved approximately 50 tonnes of general household recycling waste.
It took two and a half hours to put the blaze out and the crews left the scene at 12.51am.
It is believed that the fire was started accidentally.
Dearne crew attended a fire on Houghton Road in Thurnscoe at 5.25am on Friday caused by careless disposal of smoking materials into a full recycling bin.
