Firefighters called out to the loft of Doncaster house which was well alight

Firefighters from three stations were called out to a house fire last night (Wednesday, June 2).

Crews from Doncaster Edlington and Maltby attended Ramsden Road in Hexthorpe at 7.02pm where they found the loft of the terraced house well alight. There were no casualties, and the fire is believed to have started accidentally.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10.40pm on Ellison Street, Thorne, and a bin was deliberately set on fire at 3.30am on Church Street, Conisbrough.
