Fire started in bathroom of Epworth home
A man was treated for smoke inhalation last night after a fire started in the bathroom of his Epworth home.
A battery had been charging at unit at the detached house on Belton Road when a fire started.
The smoke alarm was not activated and fire crews were called out just before 10.05pm.
There was fire and smoke damage to the bathroom and slight smoke damage to two bedrooms and the hallway.
The man was given oxygen therapy, but no further treatment was needed.
