Female motorist cut free after Doncaster road crash

A female driver had to be cut free from her vehicle after an accident that closed one of Doncaster’s busiest roads.

The driver was cut free from her car suffering from spinal injuries after the vehicle was involved in a crash with another car on Armthorpe Road at about 1.50pm yesterday near Castle Park rugby ground.

The road was closed during the incident, which was cleared by about 3.15pm. Crews from Doncaster Fire Station attended.

The extent of the woman’s injuries are not known but it is believed she was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary following the crash.
