Fears for baby after three members of Doncaster family killed in house arson in Northern Ireland

There are fears a baby may be among those killed in a horror blaze in Co Fermanagh, in Northern Ireland yesterday morning.

Three generations of one family are feared to have perished in the ‘deliberate’ house fire in the Molly Road area of Derrylin.

The English family, believed to be from Doncaster originally, is understood to have rented the property from a local businessman and had lived there for around 18 months.

The home owner - a local coach operator - was said to be “devastated” by the incident which sent shockwaves through the small community.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and was being questioned on suspicion of murder following hospital treatment.

Fermanagh & Omagh District Commander Superintendent Jane Humphries said: “A fire broke out at a house in the Molly Road area of Derrylin which has tragically claimed the lives of at least three people. First and foremost our thoughts are with them and their relatives."
