FANS of the Carry On films will enjoy the classic farce being presented by Doncaster Little Theatre later this month.
Audience feedback on the type of shows they want to see as well as the success of the monthly comedy club, has shown that Little Theatre goers want a good laugh, and farce was a specific suggestion.
Not Now Darling by Ray Cooney and John Chapman is a tale of misunderstandings and mistaken identities, double-entendres, the ever-more ludicrous situations, which together make for a night’s entertainment full of fun and laughter, where everything turns out all right in the end. Director Steve Morrell said: “It’s an hilarious romp, set in the 70s in the same style as the Carry On films or ‘Allo, ‘Allo. In fact the film version of Not Now Darling starred Leslie Phillips and Barbara Windsor.”
The show runs from Monday, September 26, to Saturday, October 1, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 concession £7, all tickets £5 on Monday night.
