The family of one of the Doncaster teenagers killed in a tragic car accident on Saturday have paid tribute to their ‘beautiful’ daughter.
Megan Storey, 16, is one of five Doncaster teenagers who lost their lives following a two-car collision in Sheffield Road, Conisbrough.
Megan’s family have this afternoon released this statement which read: “We have lost our beautiful Megan. Please respect our family’s privacy at this tragic time.”
Bartosz Bortniczak, 18, Blake Cairns, 16, 18-year-old Arpad Kore, known as Cica to his family and friends, and Jordanna Goodwin, 16 also died as a result of the collision,
Police have now released new pictures of all five of the teenagers.
The teenagers were travelling in a blue Toyota Corrolla when it was involved in a collision with a grey Seat Leon.
Officers believe a third vehicle, a black Vauxhall Corsa, may also have been involved in the collision, which occurred at approximately 9.40pm on Saturday.
A 21-year-old Doncaster man, who police believe was driving the Corsa, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The man driving the Seat suffered a broken leg.
