Fake Festival announces 2021 return to Doncaster after coronavirus cancellation

Doncaster’s popular Fake Festival will return next summer after this year’s event was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The annual all-day music spectacular will take place in Sandall park on May 1 next year.

Announcing the new date on Facebook, a spokesman said: “Doncaster - are you ready?

"After skipping a year, we’re on for a huge party this time - and boy are we up for it!

The line up for next year’s show will include tribute bands to Coldplay, The Killers, Blondie, The Jam, Green Day and Guns ‘n’ Roses.
