Exhibition at St Andrews marks centenary

Take a step back in time when an Isle church opens its doors to the public.

A WW1 centenary exhibition is being held at St Andrew’s Church in Epworth during the heritage open days September 11-14.

It will feature displays of printed articles and memorabilia from around the Isle of Axholme during WWI.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Coun David Robinson at 11am today (Thursday September 11).

Open daily 10am to 4pm except Sunday September 14 when it is 1-4pm.

Tea/coffee and cakes available.

There is no admission charge but donations will be appreciated.
