ANOTHER popular month-long market stall is back taking pride of place in a village to raise money for the Armed Forces.
Ex-servicemen Ray Greaves and Jim Paterson hold the stall which includes bric-a-brac items, clothes and toys, every Friday throughout a month at Rossington Market.
The pair organise the fundraiser in aid of the Help for Heroes charity because they had both served in the RAF for a combined total of 46 years.
In previous years the stall has proved very popular with residents, with thousands of pounds raised for the worthy cause.
The fundraising duo held their first market of this month last week, and will be back at the market, off Nelson Road, again on June 23.
As well as the stall, the pair also want to hold a charity auction to add to the Help for Heroes fundraising pot.
The auction is to be held on Saturday, June 30, at Rossington Methodist Church in Nelson Road.
Viewing begins from 1pm and the auction will start at 3pm.
Donations are still needed for the event and people who can help out are asked to hand their items into the Methodist Church on the Saturday of the auction, before noon.
