Epworth Primary Academy moves out of special measures

Epworth Primary Academy which was deemed an inadequate school less than two years ago and has now received a ‘good’ classification from government education watchdog Ofsted.

In her report, following a visit to the Fieldside school last month, lead inspector Angela Headon said: “The Principal’s drive and rigorous approach has been pivotal in bringing about significant imorovement in all aspects of the academy’s work since the previous full inspection.”

The previous inspection was in February 2013.
