Epworth couple celebrate 60 years marriage
Epworth couple Douglas and Margaret Moore celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary today.
The couple were married in 1956 at the Methodist Chapel in Epworth (now home to the One Stop store) and have lived in Epworth for all of their married life. They have a son John and daughter Julie, granddaughter Maria and great grandchildren Demi and Lenny. Douglas worked as a self employed plasterer for many years and Margaret worked in the Bakery in chapel street.
Both can been seen regularly attending services at the Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in Epworth.
