Epworth-based firm goes green with solar panel development
An Epworth-based joinery firm has recently installed a 150kW solar panel system at their head office and manufacturing complex in Station Road.
A company spokesman said: “The panels will generate a substantial proportion of our total energy requirements and this, coupled with our biomass heating system, which recycles waste wood to heat our 21,000 sq ft manufacturing complex, has ensured our environmental impact is significantly mitigated.
“We are really pleased to be able to offer our customers products which have been manufactured by utilising renewable, clean energy and to establish CW Fields as a sustainable company for years to come.”
