Volunteers discover burnt out vehicles during Doncaster litter pick

Litter-pick volunteers who discovered two burnt-out vehicles in woodland have praised Doncaster Council workers who helped clear the area.

Patrick Sharkey and his wife Noelle are volunteer litter pickers and make an effort to go around the Bentley Community Woodlands and surrounding area a few times each week.

Patrick said: “We discovered two burnt-out vehicles, impacting on a nice public footpath. The positive response we received after contacting the council was exemplary.”
