Latest pictures show how amazing transformation of Waterdale is nearing completion with Doncaster museum, cinema and college sites taking shape

These pictures show just how major work to transform Waterdale in Doncaster is progressing.

Three major schemes are proceeding, with builders creating the £14 million Danum Gallery, Library and Museum, at one end of the street, just a few yards away from the £10 million cinema and restaurants complex, and from the Doncaster University Technical College site at the other end of the road.

Our pictures show the very latest in the contruction as the buildings start to take shape. Eight foot tall boards have now been removed from the museum site, giving a clear view of the landscaped gardens outside and the railway lines that will allow a steam locomotive to be rolled inside the building.

The cinema and the college are also now clearly recognisable as the buildings they are to be when they open.
