Drivers were put on flood alert in Doncaster this morning as a result of heavy rain last night.
Motorists were warned of flooding on the A19 Askern Road, near the petrol station and level crossing, early this morning.
Flood warning signs were put in place after Doncaster Council received warnings of the water levels at 5.20am today.
A Doncaster Council spokesman said it was localised flash flooding and the road was still passable.
Workmen have been sent to the site with pumping equipment to clear the water and expect it to be removed by 12.30pm.
