“They will be screened at Cast and we will send them out to film festivals across the world.”

The British Film Institute wants to host their course in Doncaster to show children from the town that there are opportunities here to enter the industry.

“We will show films made in South Yorkshire and have actors and directors from the area give talks.

“Film is not just an industry for people who live in London.”

The British Film Institute will help children taking part identify the next step in their film career once they have completed the club.

Whether that be studying it in higher education or continuing to make short films on their own.

The British Film Institute will move the clubs online if government guidance indicates they should in Spring of 2021.
