Elderly woman suffers serious injuries in Doncaster collision

Police in Doncaster are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Doncaster yesterday in which an elderly woman suffered serious injuries.

At around 5.50pm on September 18, it is reported that an 83-year-old woman was walking across the Asda supermarket car park on Station Road, Stainforth.

For reasons unknown, it is believed that the woman fell to the ground.

A blue Toyota RAV4 is then reported to have been involved in a collision with the 83-year-old.

As a result the woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area yesterday or who may hold dash cam footage of the collision.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire police on 101 quoting incident number 676 of September 18.
