Former student Jodie Skerratt recently returned to North Lindsey College as part of a professional make-up master class for hair and beauty students with her colleague Daisy Lai from Urban Decay.
They were also joined by Shannon Trocko a current North Lindsey student.
During the afternoon demonstrations, participating models were stripped of any make-up before being transformed into both day and night looks using the new range of cosmetics from Urban Decay.
Jodie said: “I came to North Lindsey College and studied level 2 and level 3 Beauty Therapy and have now been accepted onto the Foundation Degree in Media Make-up for Film and Theatre at York St John University. In the future I would like to work behind the scenes as a make-up artist on Drama and TV productions. The past couple of years I have been really busy developing my skills as a make-up artist and I would like to thank the college and the tutors for all their help.”
Karon Smith, curriculum leader for hair and beauty said: “We would like to thank Jodie for taking the time to come back into college and we wish her every success in the future. We are really excited and look forward to seeing her name appear in the credits for Downton Abbey, or Strictly Come Dancing.”
