Doncaster College is pleased to announce that it is hosting a regional conference of CompTIA on Thursday (June 20) at its Hub town centre campus.

Assistant director in the Academy of Commercial Enterprise responsible for computer courses at the College, Peter Beard and Steve Roebuck, Microsoft/Cisco academy coordinator, helped facilitate the process.

Steve, who is also speaking at the event said: “I have had a long professional relationship with Jane Dickinson who is the senior manager at CompTIA. During inspection week Jane contacted me and asked if the college would be interested in hosting a regional conference for CompTIA with the focus on how to bring industry certification into the academic world. Something I have done here at the college since we moved to the Hub.
“The College has worked with CompTIA and their qualifications for about ten years now and have been delivering them at the college all that time, we offer A+ which is the industry standard vendor neutral qualification for PC hardware and software.”
