RUGBY stars have been using a college’s state-of-the-art indoor facilities during the cold snap.
Players from Dons Rugby League Club have teamed up with Doncaster College after their pre-season training was hampered because the winter weather led to their grass pitches being frozen.
The team used the indoor facilities for fitness sessions, gym work and circuit training.
The link was made possible because Dons winger Stewart Sanderson is sports science lecturer at the college.
Dons head coach Tony Miller thanked the college for offering the facilities.
