Doncaster Urban Bar raises £400 for cancer charity

Regulars at popular Doncaster town centre Urban Bar & Lounge recently helped raise cash for a worthy cause.

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust currently has a £1 million target to buy new scanning facilities and a brand new treatment suite at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

This will allow patients to receive their radiotherapy treatment here in Doncaster rather than having to make the journey to Sheffield.

The bar’s main activity was a large prize draw with a hamper full of different alcohol available to win, plus over 15 other prizes.

Customers and staff bought tickets along with donations to achieve this figure, raising £400.
