Doncaster Sunday Alliance League round-up: Atletico book spot in KO Cup third round

Atletico Rec booked their place in the third round of the Doncaster Sunday Alliance League's Ernie Prince Memorial Cup.

Third-placed Balby Athletic lost ground when being held to a 4-4 draw by hosts Armthorpe Village.

Carcroft Village climbed up to fourth on the back of a 2-1 win at Bessacarr.

Wheatley Club dropped a place to fifth after losing 4-2 at home to Rossington Styrrup.

Finningley Athletic remain rooted to the foot of the table after slumping to a 7-1 defeat at Rosehill Press.

FC Cumberland kept the pressure on the leaders with a 3-2 win over The Salutation, whose goals were shared by Jack Waldron and Tom Connor.
