Doncaster scientist presents research at Parliament
Doncaster scientist James Simpson is attending Parliament to present his physics research to a panel as part of STEM for BRITAIN.
Mr Simpson, 26, a scientist at Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and part time PhD student, will present to a panel of politicians and expert judges on Monday.

Hide AdMr Simpson’s poster on research about how to manage heat from an artificially created star on Earth will be judged against dozens of other scientists’ research in the competition.
James was shortlisted from hundreds of applicants.
He said, “I applied for this competition to show my work to policy makers and illustrate the role nuclear fusion could play in a future of carbon free power generation.”
