MARKO MAROSI 6

Could do very little about the first three goals but should have gone down injured in build-up to fourth.

MATHIEU BAUDRY 5

A full league debut to forget for the Frenchman. First two Blackpool goals came from his coverage area.

ANDY BUTLER 6

Lacked his usual assured play in a back three that struggled but was still the strongest defender.

NIALL MASON 5

A rocky performance from the loanee. Gave away possession cheaply and was vulnerable defensively.

MATTY BLAIR 6

Energetic as ever. Desperately tried to make things happen when Rovers were chasing the game.

HARRY MIDDLETON 5

Hauled off at half-time as Ferguson attempted to change the game. Struggled to establish possession.

JORDAN HOUGHTON 5

Lacked his usual presence in middle of the park and failed to offer protection to the back three.

CEDRIC EVINA 5

Struggled to get on the ball on the left wing and offered little protection as a wing back.

JAMES COPPINGER 6

Did very well for Rovers’ opening goal but struggled to make an impact in an advanced role.

JOHN MARQUIS 5

Adapting to life without Andy Williams is proving difficult. Dropped deep to collect the ball far too much and left Rovers without presence.

TOMMY ROWE 6

Threatened little as a wide forward. Took his first penalty well but his second was far to easy to stop.

Subs used:

LIAM MANDEVILLE 5

Made very little impact after coming off the bench at half time to replace Middleton. Saw little of the ball.

ROSS ETHERIDGE 6

Looked very solid after replacing the injured Marosi. Commanded his area and claimed crosses with authority.

RICCARDO CALDER

The game was all but done when Calder replaced Coppinger. Struggled to get on the ball.
