All proceeds from each show will be donated to the local Labour Party fund.

Taking place immediately ahead of the election on December 12, the band will be charting their way around the country to rally support for a change of government, with current stops confirmed in Blackpool, Manchester, Doncaster, Newport, Stourbridge, Norwich and Stoke.

Speaking about their drive behind the upcoming dates and what to expect from them, Charlie McGough from The Blinders said: “All of our lives it has felt like politics has worked against us with election after election seemingly serving the interests of a limited few.

“For us, the election on December 12, provides a crucial opportunity to elect a Labour government that we truly believe in.

“The For the Many Tour is about using our platform to bring people together, influence change and help create a society in which we are a little bit more equal.”

Originally hailing from Doncaster, the trio have taken the UK live circuit by storm since their formation in 2017.

With a blend of proto punk politics and psychedelia laden lyricism the band have become a popular live attraction.

Influences ranging from Leonard Cohen to George Orwell allow the band to summon up a spectrum of sounds that will enthral and entertain any worthy parishioner.

Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Thomas Haywood, bassist Charlie McGough and drummer Matthew Neale the three piece formed in late 2014 before relocating to Manchester.

Having toured the UK with the likes of The Charlatans, The View and Cabbage, the trio bring an intense and brooding live show that can intoxicate and infatuate any audience. Combined with a long list of festival performances including headlining BBC Introducing at Reading and Leeds the band have also appeared on the main stage at Kendal Calling.

Debut album, 'Columbia' was released to critical acclaim from audiences and critics alike.

In 2019 they completed a tour of the UK and Germany including their largest headline shows to date and conquered festivals across the UK and mainland Europe with their staggering live show. The trio will now channel their full energy into their pro-Labour ‘For The Many Tour’ this Winter.
