Doncaster road that was closed in rush hour due to a 'police incident' now reopen

A key Doncaster road that was closed by police during rush hour because of an ‘incident’ has now been reopened.

South Yorkshire Police have reopened Trafford Way in both directions, after it was closed earlier this evening because of a ‘police incident’.

The force tweeted to warn motorists to avoid the area, as officers dealt with an unknown matter on the road.

In a social media post, South Yorkshire Police said: “Trafford Way in Doncaster is now open again.

Trafford Way is open again in both directions.

Trafford Way is open again in both directions.

"Thank you for your patience.”
