Doncaster RLFC poised to confirm first raft of re-signings

The club are poised to confirm the retention of up to six players as they begin to put plans in place for next season.

Ryan Boyle, Matty Beharrell and Jason Tali have already committed their futures to the Dons, who continue their push for a place in the League 1 play-offs this weekend when they host Newcastle Thunder on Sunday at the Keepmoat.

Victory at Whitehaven moved the Dons into fourth place with a two point cushion over Oldham and Hunslet, with four games remaining before play-offs begin.

The teams finishing from second to fifth will compete for a place in the Championship, joining the League 1 winners who are automatically promoted.

A barbecue will be available before and after this weekend's clash with Newcastle with a DJ playing music. The players will join supporters on deckchairs following the game as the celebrate the Summer BBQ.

The Dons are also set to confirm details of 2019 season tickets, which are expected to go on sale from this weekend.
