Doncaster primary school joins expanding Academy Trust

A Conisbrough school will join others from the area in the Reach4 Academy Trust from this summer, ahead of the next academic year.

Conisbrough Balby Street Primary School and 11 other South Yorkshire schools will work under the umbrella of Reach4, that was established in 2015. It is a sister trust to Reach2 which is currently the largest primary academy trust nationally.

All staff will make the transfer under TUPE arrangements.

Byron Wood, Edenthorpe Hall and Greengate Lane primaries are also set to join Reach4.

The trust is jointly led by its founder, Sir Steve Lancashire and Libby Nicholas, an experienced national education leader.

Designate CEO of Reach4, Libby Nicholas said: “We are absolutely delighted with the response we have had in the South Yorkshire area. Our commitment is to delivering ‘inspiration beyond measure’.”

She continued: “This means helping children and young people develop and explore who they are and what they are capable of, through arts, sports, leadership opportunities, enrichment and community.”
