Doncaster park group appeal for help in finding flower thieves

A community group who look after one of Doncaster's parks in appealing for the public to help them catch flower thieves.

A member of Friends of Sandall Park, (FoSP), has said that freshly-planted hebes are being stolen from the park in Wheatley.

Writing on Facebook, they said: 'Someone is systematically stealing hebes from the garden that our ladies are working extremely hard on. 'FoSP is spending a lot of money on making the park nice and these plants don't 'grow on trees' we have to buy them. 'Please let us know if you see anyone stealing them.'
