Doncaster male convicted to 42 weeks imprisonment
Gareth Gardener has pleaded guilty whilst on remand for a trial of possession of a bladed article and been convicted and committed to prison for 42 weeks.
Gardener was detained by officers in June in Doncaster town centre as he was wanted for questioning for other offences.
On arrest he was found to be in possession of a bladed article and further arrested for this.
Doncaster PC Gemma Ibbitson said: "Hopefully this time away from Doncaster will enable him to get the help he needs and give him time to think about his actions."
