A competition has been launched by Doncaster Council which is open to all primary school pupils.
Youngsters are being asked to create a cake, the winning design will be baked by Doncaster Council’s catering team and will be on display in the Market Square on Saturday May 14.
The competition was launched this week at Thorne King Edward Primary School by Councillor Tony Corden, Cabinet Member for Trading Services.
A maximum of five entries per school.
Entries must be the original work of the person or persons named.
Entries must be hand drawn or painted.
Entries must be accompanied by a photo of the child or children involved in the design with the artist(s) holding their work. We require names and ages of the children in the picture and permission to print this photo in the Free Press.
Designs to be posted/hand delivered to Hayley O’Grady, Town Centre Management, Doncaster Council, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU or emailed to [email protected]
Entries to be submitted by April 29, 2016.
Entries will be judged by the Town Centre Team on originality of the design and artistic value.
Winner(s) must be available on the May 14 2016 for a photo call at Doncaster Market to be printed in the Free Press.
