Ruth Thomas doubled the lead after the re-start from a well worked short corner.
Brown sealed victory with an effort from close range.

n Doncaster’s men made a disappointing return to league action as they went down 2-0 at local rivals Sheffield Hallam.
Having won the two previous encounters between the sides this season, Doncaster went into the game in confident mood. They were also boosted by the return of Travis Cresswell and Jon Redfern.
However, Sheffield looked sharper from the outset and only fine goalkeeping from Ash Watson prevented them taking an early lead.

Doncaster dominated the second half but could not make it count and, to rub salt into their wounds, Liam Brown scored a second for Sheffield from a rare breakaway with three minutes to go.
Doncaster, who have slipped to sixth in the table, host Oxton on Sunday (2pm).
